One day after the University of Miami publicly announced that second-year freshman safety Avantae Williams had been reinstated to the team after his legal situation had been rectified, UM coach Manny Diaz said Williams won’t be allowed to play in the Hurricanes’ first six games. Williams, listed as 6-0 and 198-pounds on UM’s roster, is from DeLand.
