Why Are There Two ‘Monday Night Football’ Games in Week 2?

By Jimmy Traina ABC/ESPN opted to air two games in Week 2 instead of Week 1 for a few reasons. 1. NFL fans will be treated to a double dip tonight with the Titans and Bills kicking off at 7:15 p.m. ET and the Vikings and Eagles getting underway at 8:30 p.m. ET. Steve Levy, Louis Riddick and Dan Orlovsky will have the call of Tennessee-Buffalo on ESPN, while Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will work Minnesota-Philadelphia on ABC.
