Valieva on women’s start list amid doping hearing

A Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) hearing was to be conducted at the Beijing Olympics on Sunday night to determine whether Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva can compete in the upcoming women’s competition. The 15-year-old sensation was on the entry elist for Tuesday’s start, to skate the short programme as 26th from 30 competitors – though it is yet to be determined whether she would be allowed to take the ice.
