By Cameron Flynn Earlier this week, multiple NFL insiders reported that Steelers pass-rusher Cam Heyward was likely headed to injured reserve after suffering a groin injury against the 49ers on Sunday. Heyward hasn’t officially been placed on IR as of this Thursday morning, however, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Steelers’ Pro Bowler is now expected to miss “about eight weeks” after undergoing groin surgery today. “He’s expected to miss about eight weeks, but will be back midway through this season,” Rapoport tweeted.
