His successor, Elijah Mitchell, suffered a significant injury in Week 2 of this season. Unfortunately, that’s not the end of the Niners’ injury woes at the running back spot. Rookie Tyrion Davis-Price out of LSU, who was the team’s backup running back behind Jeff Wilson in Week 2, has also suffered an injury.
