By Chris Rosvoglou Seven-time Cy Young winner Roger Clemens was not a fan of Mariners right-hander George Kirby’s postgame comments Friday night. Kirby gave up a game-tying homer to Rene Pinto in the seventh inning of last night’s game between the Mariners and Rangers. After the team’s loss, he told reporters that he didn’t want to pitch the seventh inning. “I wish I wasn’t out there for the seventh [inning], to be honest,” Kirby said. “I was at 90 pitches and I didn’t think I needed to go anymore.
