Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Rockets are trying to trade Porter Jr. due to him being charged with felony assault and strangulation after he allegedly attacked his girlfriend. Charania also reports that the Rockets have contacted teams and have even offered them draft picks to take Porter off their hands. He’s entering the first year of a four-year $82.5 million deal.
