By Andrew Gould Ohio State hopes to bring hockey to The Horseshoe. TSN’s Darren Dreger reported that NHL officials scouted Ohio Stadium as a potential hosting site for a future Winter Classic. He said the process remains in the “preliminary stages.” Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith confirmed to ABC’s Clay Hall that NHL members made their second trip to the renowned football venue for last Saturday’s game against Michigan State.
