Patrick Ewing’s Georgetown men’s basketball team was blown out by Villanova 80–48 on Wednesday in the first round of the Big East Tournament to end the Hoyas’ season. In the end, it also marked the end of Ewing’s tenure as Georgetown’s basketball coach. Georgetown has decided to part ways with Ewing after six seasons, per CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.
