This move will save the Pats around $5 million in cap space heading into the 2023 season. He originally signed a four-year deal with New England prior to the 2021 season. Mills spent the last two years in New England. The 28-year-old cornerback’s 2022 season came to an end when he suffered a groin injury in Week 12.
