The umpire, known by many MLB fans for his sometimes unbelievable calls, was on the field for Tuesday’s game between Nicaragua and Venezuela. Things went about as well as you might expect if you’re familiar with Hernandez. In the first inning, a Nicaraguan batter was at the plate facing a 1-2 count with runners on first and second.
