By Daniel Bates A scary moment for Team Venezuela as star second baseman Jose Altuve was drilled in the hand with a wild pitch on Saturday. The former MVP went down in considerable pain and was forced to leave the game. Altuve headed straight for the clubhouse with the assistance of a trainer as teammates checked on him in the dugout. There are no reports as to the extent of the injury at this time but it obviously doesn’t look good.
