Italy won the Olympic track cycling men’s team pursuit gold with another world record on Wednesday, edging out Denmark in a thrilling race. The team of Simone Consonni, Filippo Ganna, Francesco Lamon and Jonathan Milan, who already broke the world record on Tuesday on the quick Izu track, bettered it with 3 minutes 42.032 seconds over 4 kilometres.
