CHICAGO — Illinois’ flagship gun rights organization on Tuesday filed a federal lawsuit alleging thenewly signed state law that prohibits high-powered guns and large-capacity ammunition magazines violates the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Filed on behalf of the Illinois State Rifle Association and nearly a half-dozen other gun rights advocates, the lawsuit was anticipated after Democratic Gov. J.B.
