Defender Mats Hummels was again absent from the Germany national team training on Wednesday due to back issues ahead of friendly games against Turkey and Austria. Hummels had already missed the training session on Tuesday. Midfielder Leon Goretzka, who was also absent the previous day, however, was able to join his team-mates. Germany are already qualified to the Euro 2024 as hosts and, therefore, only playing friendly matches. On Saturday, they welcome Turkey in Berlin before a trip to Austria on November 21.
