Gladbach coach Hütter quits and so does Augsburg helmsman Weinzierl

Adi Hütter is quitting as Borussia Mönchengladbach coach after just one season and Augsburg’s Markus Weinzierl also said after Saturday’s Bundesliga finale that he will not stay on. Hütter told Sky TV that the club and he have agreed to end the partnership which was originally until 2024. “We both agreed to go separate ways,” Austrian Hütter told Sky, and sports director Roland Virkus agreed that “this decision is the right one for both sides.” Hütter arrived last summer from Eintracht Frankfurt in succession of Borussia Marco Rose but Gladbach had a poor season in which they finished 10th.
