By Joe Vitale Georgia wide receiver Ladd McConkey will not play on Saturday vs. Ball State due to a back injury that also forced him to miss the Week 1 game vs. UT-Martin. Seth Emerson of The Athletic reported the news on Saturday morning, before the Bulldogs kickoff at 12 p.m. ET from Athens. McConkey has been dealing with back issues, but the injury does not appear to be too serious. All reports indicate that McConkey should be good to go when Georgia’s schedule starts to heat up.
