F1 owners accuse FIA of ‘unacceptable’ remarks on championship value

Formula One owners Liberty Media on Tuesday accused the the president of motorsports ruling body FIA, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, of making “unacceptable” remarks about the championship’s value. Sulayem on Monday called a reported denied offer of $20 billion from Saudi Arabia to buy F1 an “inflated price tag” on the sport.
