DOSB boss Weikert calls for government support for mass and top sport

German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) president Thomas Weikert expects more support from the nation’s new government when it comes to overcoming the coronavirus crisis. Weikert told the Sueddeutsche Zeitung paper on in interview published Sunday on their website that the three-party government led by Social Democrat Olaf Scholz should also help overcome problems in the mass sport and high performance sport areas. “We want a guarantee for mass sport.
