Assistant coach Norm Roberts, who was Self’s interim replacement during the Big 12 Tournament, said following today’s game that his boss is planning to return for the upcoming first weekend of the NCAA Tournament. Self, 60, missed the entire Big 12 tourney after being hospitalized for a medical issue. It’s great to hear that Self continues to recover and is making his way back to his post.
