LOS ANGELES — The Padres were trying to do something that would qualify as a feel-good footnote in a horrible season. Blake Snell was trying to continue an excellent season and do something that would qualify as historic. A solo home run by Juan Soto, a three-run homer by Luis Campusano, Fernando Tatis Jr.’s two-run single and six scoreless innings by Snell accomplished both ends, as the Padres beat the Dodgers 6-1 Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium.
