By Matt Hladik After losing its last two regular season games in heartbreaking fashion, Michigan needed to beat Rutgers today in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament to keep its NCAA hopes alive. The Wolverines failed to do that. After taking a 28-25 lead at halftime, Michigan managed only four made field goals in the second half and fell 62-50 to the Scarlet Knights.
