The 13th-Seeded Furman Paladins trailed the 4th-Seeded Virginia Cavaliers 32-27 at halftime, but weren’t content to go out quietly. The Bob Richey-coached squad overcame a 50-38 deficit within the game’s final 11 minutes, eventually winning on a 3-pointer from J.P. Pegues.
